Getting in the trailhead
Khopra Ridge Khayar Lake Trek starts from Pokhara after Kathmandu UNESCO heritage sites sightseeing (in option). For the first few days, we will be walking in the most popular Ghorepani Poon hill trek trail. Poon Hill viewpoint will welcome you 360 Degree panoramic sunrise Mountains view. We will pass through rice fields, rhododendron forest, juniper, and other trees with tropical bushes line. Additionally, the trek allows you to interact with local ethnic people, their cultures, and their lifestyle. Furthermore, You will frequently encounter numerous Tibetan / Buddhist and Hindu temples shrines. In the Meantime, the maximum elevation of this trek is 3640m but a day hike up to Khayer Lake is about 4660m.
Khopra Khayar Lake Trek – Accommodation
The accommodation includes three-star properties in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Whereas there will be tea house stay during trekking days. The hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara are inclusive of breakfast and bases twin sharing rooms. The lodges en route provide twin sharing accommodation with a shared bathroom.

Khopra Dada Trek - Detail Itinerary
01
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Upon our arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Himalayan Hospitality Treks and Tour who will drop us off at our hotel. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by company where you will be served excellent Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country’s food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara(810m/2656ft) by drive / 6hrs drive / Overnight at hotel in Pokhara
After taking an early breakfast, you will drive to Pokhara. It will take approximately 7 hrs to reach Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk and Trek to Tadapani 30 mins flight, 2 hours drive and 3 hours trek
Early in the morning after breakfast we drive to Ghandruk and after that we start our trek to Tadapani village.

Day 04: Tadapani to Dobato (3,350m/10,990ft): 4-5 hours
After Tadapani we leave the main trail and for the next five days, we will walk in a more remote area of the Annapurna region. On our trek today we get to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of the region and of course the magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South. Trekking in a relatively easy trail we reach Dobato which is dominated by the excellent view of the Annapurna South. Overnight in Dobato.

Day 05: Dobato to Khopra Danda(3,660m)
This is the important day and we trek to our final destination to Khopra Danda.

Day 06: Trek to Swanta(2,214m)
On this day we trek to Swanta and it takes about 4/5 hour to reach there.

Day 07: Trek to Ghorepani
On this day we trek to Ghorepani village which is famous place in this route.

Day 8: Ghorepani to Poonhil and back to Pokhara
On this day we climb up to Poon hill for sunrise view and trek down to Birethati and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 9: Drive Back to Kathmandu
You will drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. A drive for 6/7 hours will take you to Kathmandu. In the evening, you will have time to go for souvenir shoping around the streets of Thamel.

Day 10: Final departure
Your visit to Nepal comes to an end today! Himalayan Hospitality Treks and Tour representative will escort you to the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On our way home, we have plenty of time to plan our next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
