Overview of Gorilla Trek

Gorilla Trekking is one of  the unique unexplored latest trekking destination in far western region of Nepal which starts from Beni Headquarter of Myagdi District and ends at Sulichaur at Rolpa District. The trekking trail has introduced isolated yet easy trekking routes ready to be explored by some avid trekkers known as the Gorilla. The name Gorilla  Trekking is directly related to Maoist Gorilla of first civil war of Nepal where many people had lost their life. Exploring this route, gives trekkers unique chance to see routes, hideouts, and shelters used by the gorillas during the domestic conflict (1996-2006). In spite of what the name might suggest, the area is very peaceful nowadays with stunning views of mountains. This Gorilla trail helps to take the good memories from Nepal with unforgettable experiences forgetting the most popular trekking routes like Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek  and so on.
