Mr. Jeevan Chhantyal is the Executive Chairman & founder of Himalayan Hospitality Treks and Tour Pvt. Ltd. He is a young, energetic, passionate, honest, polite, friendly, resourceful and experienced tourism entrepreneur who focus for sustainable tourism and “take the picture leave the foot print” is the slogan of organization.
He grew up in rural area of inaccessible mountain in western part of Nepal in Dhorpatan Hunting region and walking, hiking, climbing up hill while going to school and work was a ordinary daily life. After moving to Pokhara for higher study, he started working as mountain porter job side by side at the age of just 14 years which was turning point to enter in Nepalese Trekking Tourism. After working as porter for few year, he started working as a trekking guide in different trail of Nepal. Currently, he has both trekking, tour guide and IATA license and experience of working as a leader in different company leading tourists from across the globe in almost all trekking route and heritage sites of Nepal. He has also scaled more than 9 mountains which are above six thousand meters. Moreover, after COVID, he worked at international airlines where he joined as a sales executive but seeing his skill and way of contributing the organization, he was given station Head of Air India for short period at this young age and was first Nepali to reach this position “the station head of Air India” Nepal in history. After his 2 years contract, he started working in trekking and adventure tourism which was passion and also was starting career for him rather than working in corporate organization.
He has completed masters in Tourism from Central Department of Tribhuvan University. Moreover, he is theoretically and practically acknowledged about Nepal tourism and has published many tourism related articles in different journal. He has been working for different non-profit projects which is focusing for Sustainable Tourism in Nepal.
