The Helambu area is located at the foot of the majestic Himalayas. Helambu is a prominent destination for Himalayan agricultural goods and was once known for its magnificent apple plantation. It is a unique attraction due to the well-preserved Hyalmo customs and traditions. The trail traverses a variety of topographic zones. The trek’s highlights include stunning Rhododendron and oak woods, as well as intriguing ancient and medieval traditional villages. Despite the fact that the hamlet lost its traditional structures and architecture as a result of the 2015 big earthquake, it remains a popular trekking destination in Nepal.

The route to Helambu is less popular. It is more serene and unpolluted than the other hiking destinations in the Annapurna and Everest regions. For Helambu hiking, Oriental Journeys creates custom-made trekking packages. The Helambu Little Trek is a great short walk close to Kathmandu. The personalized short Helambu hike caters to your specific needs and is ideal for small parties.
