Pick up at your hotel in Kathmandu and transfer to the domestic airport. After a flight of 30 minutes from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa airport, and then about 45 minutes drive, you will reach Lumbini.

You are welcome to stay in the Lumbini area. Around the Lumbini Cultural Site, there are various simple lodges and tourist-level hotels. Following that, you will be able to select between Bhairahawa and Butwal. Some guests opt to stay in Buddhist monasteries instead of hotels in Lumbini.
